How TheBioBook handles attendee and event information.

TheBioBook is built around attendee control and organizer clarity. This page explains the operating principles used by this build.

What is stored

  • Attendee account details used for sign-in and account management.
  • Reusable BioBook profile fields such as name, title, company, biography, contact selections, and uploaded images.
  • Meeting-specific information such as invitation status, event role, and Why Attending notes.

What attendees control

  • Whether professional email, phone numbers, and address details are published.
  • When their BioBook is updated before a meeting.
  • Whether their account is kept active or later canceled.

How event data is used

  • Organizer event pages use attendee-approved information to prepare online and printable meeting materials.
  • Meeting-specific notes stay tied to the event and do not overwrite the reusable BioBook.
  • Guest lists are used to support event tracking and invitation workflow for the organizer.

Deployment note

This build should be deployed with HTTPS, restricted server access, and regular backups. Production privacy notices can be expanded further to match final hosting, retention, and legal requirements.
